Antiquing and more…

I got up this morning not wanting to sit around at home all day.  So I went to an antique sale going on at the community center in Fountain Hills.  It was ok… to much old stuff! hahaha I did see some pretty cool old rings… you wonder who they belong to and what the history would be.  Maybe next time they come back I may have to check them out and invest in one.  I then went to Bealle’s (sp)… it’s not as nice as Ross’ which is just like a TJ Maxx or Marshalls.  It’s kind of crappy even if you ask me BUT I did find a really cute jar with my initial on it to keep my change in.

It only cost me $3.99… not to shabby! Then I found a V.C. Andrews book for $2.99.  I then went to the grocery store to get a roast, potatoes and carrots so I can make a roast in the crock pot on Monday! yea!

Father in law wanted me to run with him to drop off some clothes of my mother in laws.  It was at a place like a salvation army but all the money goes to hospice which they used for her.  But first we went to lunch at a awesome chinese restuarant called Flo’s Chinese Restuarant… VERY GOOD!!! I can’t wait to have my left overs for dinner!!!  I then took the boys to the park as usual.  I really hope wherever we move to from here we find a great park as this one.  Even though I am probably the youngest one there, they are manly seniors, I am starting to feel at home and making new friends!! New Life

Well many of you know we are starting a new venture in our lives.  I have decided to keep my blog a-rollin’.  I was going to start off with a fresh new one.. but what the heck.  I really have nothing to hide in my life.  If certain people from my past get a kick out of reading how well I am doing… well then so be it.  Andy and I are moving to sunny Arizona! yea!! Andy is down there now and is hopefully starting his job on Monday.  I am not sure when I am going yet.  He is staying with his dad and has Heffy with him down there.  I have Winston and Ty up here with me now.  We may have to get rid of Ty.  As much as I would hate to, it’s going to make it easier to find a place to live and he is prone to accidents.  I have some belly bands on their way here so we will try them and see how they work.

I miss my hubby… he left the day after turkey day and I struggle everyday with missing him.

yes I have been so horrid about writing in this but I have been so busy with work and life.  We have moved into a way bigger and better place in the last month and we got another puggie!!!

I will post more pictures as I can… He has been such a joy in our lives and all 3 of the boys seem to get along wonderfully.

That Jen had asked me to bring in the boys for a photo shoot at the place she worked at and I am just now getting pics loaded.  They were taken like a week after I cut all my hair off.  I found them today and am so happy I got them done! So enjoy!

Sleepy time with Hef and Dora

Andy’s best friend Dave or Diamond Dave as everyone calls him came into town yesterday.  We surprised Andy out at the fish house.  Andy had no idea he was coming into town until Sunday at least.  D called me yesterday when I was at the office and said he was on his way.  We didn’t do to much today because the weather is getting nasty and it’s snowing/sleeting right now.  Poor Andy is still on his way home from work and he left there an hour ago. We were going to go out but it’s to nasty out.  Plus D is sleeping already! Silly goose. He is going to stay with us for about a week he said which is nice for Andy to be able to catch up with him.

Otherwise this is my first weekend with no kids and no part time job to go to and oh my it’s kind of crazy.  I was some what bored today since D was working all day from his laptop.  Hopefully tomorrow we will do something fun.

New Years Eve 2008

Well here it is… New Years Eve 2008 and look at how fast the year has gone.  I can’t believe how wonderful of a year it has been.  I married my best friend and have a wonderful job with a wonderful Doctor that I work for and co-workers.  I looked at what my resolutions were for last year.  Got a couple done… the one major one is quiting smoking!  I didn’t lose that 20lbs I wanted however… I think I gained at least 10 in the last month or more from quiting smoking.  eh oh well I will lose it again.  My house and closet isn’t as cluttered.  We didn’t go on any vacations this year but it’s been to crazy with our jobs.   So what it is in store for 2009?  Lots of great things I am sure.  We will be buying a house for sure… hopefully if the cards play right I will be pregnant!  I also am going to keep up better in here… Now that my life isn’t revolving around Geoffrey Beene.  Yes that is the store I worked part time at all summer and it closed.  Last Sunday was it’s last day and I tell ya it was pretty sad to go.  I want to do more things with my friends, new and old.  My family too… both sides and Andy’s side.  I really miss my cousin’s on that I am pretty darn close with. You know who you are! 🙂

Well I need to get the roast out of the oven now and make some smashed taters for us.  Need a good hearty meal before drinking our lives away this evening!

Just busy…

That’s why I haven’t blogged.  I have a few pics from halloween to post but I am still learning my new camera.  I have been working a ton at both jobs and so has Andy.  Andy started working from home for his friend Dave.  He is still at the furniture store though for now… Let’s just say dreams really do come true… it’s so freaking awesome it’s not funny.

Nights in Rodanthe… go see it…

Mom and I went to this movie today… it is sooooo good.  Total chick flick but worth it.  I got teary eyed at a few parts but the very end is when I lost it.  Man… Richard Gere… I tell ya is one guy that gets more and more good looking with age.

It’s not a Wu world, It really is a small world…

We had the kids for just the day since Andy’s ex’s sister in law wanted to have the kids for the long weekend to do Halloween stuff.  So yes I have a completely free weekend for once… anyway… we went to drop the kids off at her house up near St Cloud and the ex sis in law isn’t home yet. Her husband (Andy’s ex bro in law) and Andy were outside talking and I joined them.  We told him how we took the kids to the pumpkin patch in Otsego and he said he grew up in Elk River.  I asked himif he went to school there, yes he said, what year he graduated… he said 1990.  I then asked him his last name… I nearly had a heart attack.  Yep I graduated from high school with Andy’s ex brother in law.  The funny thing is we were pretty good friends from 7-12 grade.  Never dated or anything… just friends.  So Steve ran in his garage and dragged out one of his yearbooks from our 9th grade year.  Yeah… how funny is that???  To back up on all this… Andy and I have had more small world things happen to us, it’s kind of scary.  One of my great uncles was his hockey coach in high school, he graduated with a bunch of my old friends and a cousin.  My cousin Carrie’s husband and Andy were roomies like 12 years ago… Andy and I are so surprised we didn’t meet sooner.  It’s kind of freaky scary. 

I took a bunch of pictures of the kids again playing in the corn… I will have to go back and look at those pics.  I need to figure out how to download them from my new camera to the computer.  Maybe tomorrow!

Finally….

I have a moment of posting… Trent Douglas was born on Sept 2nd… It was the greatest moment ever.  Jen did 2 sets of pushing and BAM he is was out.  Jen’s mom said not to even expect that when I have a child.  Andy and I are his god-parents! yeah!  Andy is already bought him a couple MN ViQueens outfits… *eyes rolling*  This is a pic of the little guy at our wedding… now onto that…
